An Open Heart
***

As I fall into my lover's arms
I think of all the happy times
we've had throughout the years

And as his lips come crashing down
to capture every moaning sound
the blessed silence fills my ears
with the words he never says

I know that soon he'll leave again
and he does so without fear.
His wandering ways won't be contained
within something so small as a heart
but he will find his way back
to this unlocked cage
and the haven offered freely within.

Note: When I wrote this, I was thinking Ryouga/Ranma from Ranma's POV. After I finished it, I looked back and thought it was Tsubasa/Ryouga from Tsubasa's POV (bird imagry o.o). Now, looking at it once more, I'm thinking Akari/Ryouga, Tsubasa/Mikado (don't laugh!), and Mousse/Ryouga are also all good possibilities. @_@ Thus, I leave it up to your interpretation.
