It began when the clock struck midnight. Akanes eyes opened to reveal a hellish reddish glow inside. The twin pools of fire turned to her beloved pet...

Ranma woke to the sound of horrified "bwee !", which was followed by ominous silence. Then there was a sound of door opening. Ranma got up and silently opened the door...

...Only to give a startled yelp at what he saw. Akane was standing in the hallway with P-chan in her hand. That in itself was not very scary, but the smoke rising from P-chans charred and still body definitely was. And the glow in Akanes eyes did nothing to dispell the effect.

Upon hearing the sound of Ranmas yelp, Akane turned her burning gaze to him. The last thing he saw was a flash in those horrible, burning eyes...
